Russian Parliament Condemns Houthi Attack on UAE

Moscow, January 18, 2022, SPA -- The Russian Federation Parliament (State Duma) has strongly condemned the Houthi militia attack that targeted civilian facilities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) yesterday. In a statement, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky said that the Russian parliament strongly condemns the drone attack carried out by Houthi militias against Abu Dhabi, which led to the death of a number of civilians. He affirmed that those attacks not only blatantly violate norms of the international humanitarian law, but also undermine prospects for peaceful settlement of the Yemeni crisis based on relevant UN Security Council resolutions and decisions made in the format of the Yemeni dialogue. --SPA
