Russian puppet troupe performs in Tehran

TEHRAN,Nov. 17 (MNA)-- Directed by Vladimir Biryukov, the play is an entry to Iran’s 12th International Student's Puppet Theater Festival and will also be staged for a second time today. The troupe has performed several plays in different countries including Ukraine and the Netherlands, and also received the Golden Mask awards from the annual Russian national festival of the performing arts. The forum has been hosting several plays during the festival since it was opened on November 11. Several street theater performances from different Iranian cities went on stage and the festival will be hosting several more until its closing day on November 19.
