S. Sumatra, Egypt Co-Build Student Lodging House

Palembang, S Sumatra, Dec 19 (ANTARA) - The regional government of South Sumatra province and Egypt are cooperating in the construction of a student lodging facility in Cairo, according to a regional government spokesman. "The construction of the student lodging facility will be completed in 2013," Public Bureau Chief of the South Sumatra Regional Government, Robby Kurniawan, said here on Wednesday. He made the statement after meeting with an attach� from the Indonesian Embassy in Cairo, Sangidu, who was on a visit to South Sumatra. Robby said the construction of the boarding facility was being jointly financed by the regional government of South Sumatra and the Egyptian government. "The lodging house, situated near the campus of Al-Azhar University, will be designed for students coming from South Sumatra," he added.
