Saudi Arabia leads the world's fight against terrorism

Manama, Jul 5 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Rumaihi has condemned the terrorist bombings in the vicinity of the Prophet’s Grand Mosque, Qatif and Jeddah are heinous crimes that are contrary to all religious principles and human and moral values. He expressed deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery. The minister stressed Bahrain's solidarity with Saudi Arabia and full support for all measures it takes to protect its security and stability from sedition and terrorism, praising the sacrifices of the brave Saudi security men. He said that those terrorist attacks targeted the Islamic teachings and terrorized innocent people living on the holiest site in the world during the holy month of Ramadan. He called on religious and media figures to assume moral responsibility and remember the saying of the late Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz "Our religious faith and countries have been targeted .. Defend your religions, countries, sons and future generations. We should realize good deeds and use all modern means to serve Islam and to say the truth without fearing others' blame or criticism." He pointed Bahrain's keenness on reinforcing Gulf and Arab media cooperation to counter terrorism, disseminate values of tolerance, moderation and fairness, and reject hatred, violence and religious extremism. He highlighted the efforts of tSaudi Arabia led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud in uniting Arab and Islamic nations for the protection of the Islamic identity, disseminating values of moderation and tolerance and fighting the extremist terrorist organizations to maintain regional and international peace and stability. He underlined the competence of the Saudi security agencies led by Crown Prince and Interior Minister HRH Prince Mohammed bin Nayef in maintaining security, stability and safety of the Saudi people and residents, as well as the holy places. He urged all Muslims to stand by the Saudi leadership in its fight against terrorism and defence of Arab and Islamic causes.
