Saudi Space Commission Participates in G20 Space Economy Leaders Meeting in Rome

Riyadh, September 19, 2021 -- Acting Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mohammad bin Saud Al-Tamimi is heading the Saudi Space Commission delegation to the second meeting of leaders of the space economy, slated for tomorrow, which will discuss means to develop frameworks and principles for regulating the space economy to enhance its stability and prosperity and support continued efforts to address the challenges and support the private sector and research bodies in opening new markets and promoting future and innovative opportunities in the space sector. The ministers and heads of space agencies and bodies in the G20 states as well as representatives of international and regional organizations of the member states are also taking part in the meeting. --SPA
