SCE chief receives Irish minister

Manama, Nov. 8 (BNA): Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) Chief Executive Officer Dr. Mohammed bin Daina received Pat Breen, Minister of State across the Departments of Enterprise and Innovation, the Department of Employment and Social Protection, and the Department of Justice and Equality with special responsibility for Trade, Employment, Business, EU Digital Single Market and Data Protection. He hailed strong relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Ireland, stressing the Kingdom’s keenness on expanding cooperation and strengthening coordination in the environmental field. The two sides discussed cooperation to exchange expertise and information on protecting the environment, achieving sustainable development and promoting green projects. Dr. bin Daina hailed the success of the Irish business environment and its prominent role in encouraging and supporting entrepreneurs and startups to embrace modern trends, digital economy and advanced technology that stimulate green industry and promote sustainable development goals. The Irish thanked the Supreme Council for the Environment for its outstanding efforts in the field of environmental conservation and sustainable development.
