Schools re-open in Turkey after term holiday

ANKARA (A.A) - February 6, 2012 - Pre-elementary, elementary and secondary schools re-opened in Turkey on Monday after 17 days of a term holiday. Almost 17 million students began the second term of 2011-2012 education year. The 2011-2012 education year started on September 19, 2011 and the first term ended on January 20, 2012.  Students will go on a summer recess on June 8, 2012.
