SCIA President meets Egyptian Awqaf Minister

Cairo, Sept. 17 (BNA): President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, met the Egyptian Awqaf Minister Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa. SCIA president commended the deep relations between Bahrain and Egypt, praising Egypt's pioneering role in defending Arab and Islamic nations. Shaikh Abdulrahman conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and his appreciation for Egyptian Awqaf Ministry’s efforts in supporting issues of truth and goodness, upholding moderation and tolerance. As well as conveying the greetings of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. He presented him a copy of SCIA’s latest publications, Al Wafa Encyclopedia on Prophet Mohammed’s Virtues, to its Author Imam Ibn al-Jawzi. Minister Gomaa valued the participation of SCIA president in the 30th International Conference of Islamic Affairs Supreme Council, under the patronage of President El Sisi, tasking him to convey his greetings to HM the King, HRH Premier, and HRH Crown Prince.
