SCW anniversary congratulated

Manama, Aug 21 (BNA): Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of HM the King, President of Supreme Council of Women (SCW) today received congratulations from a number of MPs on the 15th anniversary of the SCW. MPs Adil Al-Assomi, Ali Al-Aradi and Osama Al-Khaja extended sincere congratulations marking the occasion that falls on 22 August. They praised the SCW role in the empowerment of Bahraini women to assume leadership positions in line with the objectives of the royal reforms. They hailed the SCW 's training and rehabilitation programmes for women to contribute alongside men to the development march taking place in the Kingdom of Bahrain. They pointed out the leadership's interest in protecting women's rights and integrating g their needs in the government action plan. They lauded the SCW efforts in accentuating the Bahraini women's achievements and successes made at the regional and international levels.
