SCW Assistant Secretary General receives representatives from BWA

Manama, Aug. 13 (BNA): Assistant Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Dhawia Sayed Sharaf Al Alawi received representatives from Bahrain Women Association-for Human Development (BWA) who presented her with a copy of a research on maternity which was compiled by the association within the framework of raising awareness and empowering women according to an advanced academic method. The SCW Assistant Secretary General praised the association’s efforts in conducting the research which aims to rectify the concept of motherhood which restricts women to their traditional roles and reduces their role in achieving sustainable development.
