SCW President congratulated on Olympic achievement

Manama, Aug 16 (BNA): Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of HM the King, President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), today received a cable of congratulations from Second Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council, Jameela Ali Salman, on the Olympic achievement made by Ruth Jebet who claimed the women's 3000m steeplechase gold medal. Salman stressed the brave sport achievement reflects Bahrain's leadership's care and support for the sport and youth movement in the country. She lauded the SCW President's role in the empowerment of Bahraini women and promoting their participations in various fields. She wished Bahrain's Olympic athletes to bring more achievements in the great international sport forum.
