SCW president congratulates GWU chairperson

Manama, Aug. 28 (BNA): The Supreme Council of Women (SCW)'s President Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa wife of His Majesty the King has congratulated HH Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak the Chairperson of the UAE General Women’s Union (GWU) and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood on Emirati Women's Day. The UAE Women's Day is annually celebrated on August 28 which sheds light this year on the role and contributions of Emirati women in all creativity and innovation fields. Her Royal Highness praised Shaikha Fatima's achievements, support and empowerment of Emirati women in the community thanks to the auspices and support of the UAE political leadership, wishing her constant success in serving her nation, and wishing Emirati women further advancement and prosperity.
