Security cooperation crucial to thwart dangers

Manama, Apr.9 (BNA): Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Hassan Al Hassan took pride in attending the mobilisation exercise of Saudi Special Emergency Forces "Sawlat Al-Haq 8". The drill was held at the Prince Naif Centre for Special operations and advanced applications at the Governorate of Dharma’a in Saudi Arabia. Major-General Al-Hassan paid tribute to Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Interior Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud for patronizing the event. . He highlighted that the exercise represented the dedication of Saudi Arabia for such exercises to ensure efficiency in carrying security duties. He hailed the competence of the participants while performing the exercise, noting the importance of such drills to hone skills and enhance the level of readiness. He stressed the importance of cooperation and coordination between security authorities of the two brotherly countries in facing security challenges and protecting regional achievements. He hailed the efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia to combat the scourge of terrorism and strengthen GCC and pan-Arab security cooperation. Major-General Al-Hassan was accompanied by Special Security Forces Commander, Commander of Royal Academy of Police and Commander of Special Operations Unit.
