Security efforts in Southern Governorate discussed

Manama, Sep. 17 (BNA): Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa met at his Majlis with a number of officers from the Southern Governorate Police Directorate. He lauded cooperation between the governorate the directorate, stressing the importance of exchanging meetings to follow up on the security situation, boost joint work, exchange experiences and draw a roadmap to carry out plans to handle security issues and raise the preemptive measures for citizens in the Southern Governorate. He also spotlighted the positive outcome of the Interior Minister's meeting with the governors and his directives to further boost security. The officers thanked the Southern Governor for his efforts to cater for the needs of citizens and remove obstacles to security work.
