Security, legal measures highlighted

Manama, Aug.13 (BNA): Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs (NPRA) asserted that there is a comprehensive security and legal supervision on expatriate travellers at ports to protect the security and economy of the Kingdom. The NPRA highlighted that there is ongoing cooperation with all authorities concerned to take security and legal steps at all ports, especially the Bahrain International Airport. In 2014, a total of 690 expatriates were arrested while attempting to enter the country. There were criminal records, court verdicts and entry ban against them. The NPRA is dedicated to preventing the entry of expatriates with previous criminal records in the Kingdom.
