Fujariah (WAM): A grand ceremony was held yesterday by the Fujairah International Marine Club to launch the ''Seven Pearls in Love of U.A.E.'', a national initiative rolled by ''We Are All U.A.E. Society'' under the patronage of Sheikh Dhiyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the Society, to mark the upcoming 43rd National Day of the U.A.E.. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saif Al Sharqi and Sheikh Musalam bin Ham Al Amri, Chairman of the Board of the Society, attended the event, which will see the organisers grow a pearl in the sea of each emirates of the Union, carrying the U.A.E.'s flag, Spirit of the Union logo, name of the emirate and the logo of the Society. Fujairah had the honour to be the launchpad of the seven-emirate initiative, a brainchild of the U.A.E. adventurer Saeed Al Mamari, who is leading the team of divers. Sheikh Ahmed handed out the pearl to the divers who planted it in the sea. The next stop of the initiative will be the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Organisers say the initiative is a message of loyalty and belonging to the U.A.E. and of love, allegiance and gratitude to the leader, President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and other U.A.E. leaders. They also expressed the hope the initiative would find its way to the Guinness World Records as the longest diving journey in the world. Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Sharqi thanked Sheikh Dhiyab for his kind patronage of the initiative, which he said expresses the value of unity and translate the feelings of loyalty and belonging to the U.A.E.. ''This patriotic work is a valuable addition to the bright record of the U.A.E. youth, who prove in national occasions their profound love and loyalty to the nation and leadership,'' he added. - Emirates News Agency, WAM – http://www.wam.ae/en/news/emirates/1395272126389.html
