Shaikh Nasser congratulated on top honour

Manama, Apr. 28 (BNA): HM the King's Personal Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has received more congratulatory cables for being chosen as the "Arab Giving Knight" by the 4th Arab Giving Forum –Zayed Giving Initiative, organised by the Arab Organization for Social Responsibility outside the UAE for the first time. Shaikh Nasser was congratulated by the Labour and Social Development Minister, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, who extended to him utmost congratulations on the honour conferred on him in recognition of his pioneering humanitarian and charity works. Bahrain is proud of Shaikh Nasser's leadership of RCO which has been –and still is- a landmark humanitarian monument spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, RCO's Honorary President, the minister said. He stressed that prestigious honour adds to the kingdom's rich record of landmark achievement. He also also conveyed to Shaikh Nasser the feelings expressed by the participants in the 4th Arab Giving Forum. Shaikh Nasser received a similar congratulatory cable from the Labour Undersecretary at the Ministry of Labour and Social Development Sabah Salim Al-Dossary.
