Shaikh Nasser's mother receives outstanding RCO students

Manama, July 21 (BNA): Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s mother received at her Majlis a number of outstanding students who were honoured at the 13th annual celebration held by the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) under the patronage of Personal Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and RCO Board of Trustees Chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The meeting was attended by RCO Secretary General Dr. Mustapha Sayed and a number of RCO affiliates and staff members. Shaikh Nasser’s mother expressed thanks and gratitude to HM the King for his personal care and follow-up on the outcome of the education provided for the orphans affiliated with RCO as well as his paternal care for all Bahraini orphans and keenness to safeguard their right for education and a decent life. She wished HM the King abundant good health and happiness and a long life, congratulating the honoured students and their parents on the achievement. She also reiterated continuous support to the Bahraini orphans and keenness to meet them, praising the efforts made by RCO under the leadership of Shaikh Nasser in supporting the Bahraini orphans and needy and carrying out development projects in brotherly and friendly countries. On his part, the RCO Secretary General thanked Shaikh Nasser’s mother, commending her initiative and keenness to meet the outstanding students and urge them to continue the path of excellence in order to serve the nation in tribute to HM the King. It is to note that Shaikh Nasser’s mother was the first to donate for the model kindergarten project to be set up by RCO in all governorates. She took charge of setting up Um Nasser Model Nursery in the Southern Governorate as part of her support to RCO work.
