Sheikh Zayed Hospital at Manshiat Nasser, Cairo inaugurated

Cairo: Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State and Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Acting Director General of Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, opened on Tuesday, the Sheikh Zayed Hospital at Manshiat Nasser, Cairo.
Egyptian Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Maha al-Rabat accompanied Al Jaber.
The UAE gesture aims to support bridges of cooperation between the UAE and Egypt, and emphasises the historic fraternal relations between the two countries.
The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) funded the project at cost of EGP 250 million, in addition to further 20 million for facilities.
The Sheikh Zayed Hospital will provide better medical services for the people in the area. The project also has additional importance, as it is the main hospital in the area, which serves about 50,000 people.
It is part of a package of projects and initiatives adopted by the UAE, which adds real and tangible impact on the Egyptian society in various sectors. The hospital is equipped with the latest medical supplies, including various medical specialties.
Dr. Ziad Bahaa El Din, Egypt's Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of International Cooperation, other ministers, Mohammed Nakhira Al Dhaheri, the UAE Ambassador to Egypt, key Egyptian figures and media circles attended the inauguration ceremony. – Emirates New Agency, WAM
