Shura chairman congratulates new SCIA president

Manama, June 16 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh has congratulated Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa following the issuance of a royal order on appointing him as President of Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA). In his congratulatory cable, Al-Saleh said that the precious royal trust was the outcome of Shaikh Abdulrahman’s high competence, distinguished contributions and dedication in serving the Islamic religion, as well as outstanding religious and cultural achievements. He wished the new SCIA president every success in serving Islam and Muslims, and in bringing about more accomplishments for the kingdom, under the leadership of HM King Hamad.
