Shura Chairman meets with Egypt's Senate President

Cairo, Feb. 21 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh affirmed keenness on boosting parliamentary cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Egypt. He praised strong ties binding both countries thanks to the care and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. The Shura Council Chairman was speaking as he met in Cairo today with Egypt’s Senate President, Chancellor Abdulwahab Abdulrazzaq. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the fourth conference of the Arab Parliament and Speakers of Arab Councils and parliaments. The Shura Council Chairman emphasised strong and deep-rooted relations between both countries which are based on common visions and goals to promote regional security and stability and fast-track growth and development. For his part, Chancellor Abdulwahab Abdulrazzaq expressed pride and appreciation of distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries and growing cooperation in various fields. He also praised bilateral parliamentary cooperation to boost growth and prosperity in both countries. The meeting was attended by the delegation accompanying the Shura Council Chairman which comprises Head of the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee, member of the Arab Parliament, Dalal Jassim Al Zayed, member of the Arab Parliament, Abdulrahman Mohammed Jamshir, and Bahraini Ambassador to Egypt, Hesham Mohammed Al Jowder.
