Shura Council chairman praises Bahraini youth

Manama, Aug. 12 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh has lauded the advanced level reached by Bahrain youth at all levels, affirming that celebrating the UN International Youth Day is an opportunity to highlight the landmark achievements of Bahraini youngsters and their key role in achieving the kingdom’s vision, 2030, spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. In two separate congratulatory cables to HM the King’s Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and SCYS First Deputy President and President of the Bahrain Athletics Association, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Al Saleh pointed out to the importance of supporting the efforts of the government and official authorities to advance Bahraini youth, fulfill their aspirations and encourage them to acquire knowledge and achieve excellence. He affirmed Bahraini youth’s competence and distinction in various fields, praising the key role played by Shaikh Nasser and Shaikh Khalid in adopting Bahraini youth’s issues and constant follow-up on everything related to them. He said that Bahrain’s landmark sports achievements were among the fruitful results of their interest, wishing Bahraini youth further success in serving their nation and leadership.
