Shura Council chairman praises MPs' national, democratic role

Manama, May 6 (BNA): Chairman of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, has lauded the “national efforts” exerted by the members of the Council of Representatives, praising their contributions to the kingdom’s democratic process. Al-Saleh valued highly the prominent national role played by MPs in the legislative fields, hailing their constant keenness to communicate and cooperate with the Shura Council. While receiving here today MP Ibrahim Al-Nufaie, Al-Saleh stressed the importance of communication, coordination and cooperation between the Shura and Representatives councils to carry on developing the kingdom’s legislative and legal system and make it compatible with the development and progress march currently witnessed by the kingdom in various fields.
