Shura Council chairman visits Jaffariya Endowments

Manama, Mar. 29 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh visited the Jaffariya Endowments Directorate today and met the Chairman of Jaffariya Endowments Council, AlShaikh Mohsen Ibn AlShaikh Abdulhussain Al Asfoor and several directorate officials. Jaffariya Endowments Council chairman welcomed the Shura Council's chairman, expressing his appreciation of the huge role undertaken by the legislature and its efforts in the enactment and proposal of laws aimed to develop the community in the manner that boosts the efforts of all institutions in the kingdom and contribute to achieving the aspirations of citizens in the prosperous reign of His Majesty the King. They reviewed the projects currently being implemented and overseen by the directorate in addition to planned projects yet to be accomplished. They stressed the essential mustering of efforts and expansion of cooperation areas with the relevant bodies to invest and develop endowments and utilize them to reap the benefit in serving the nation and its citizens. The Shura Council's chairman conducted a tour in various developmental projects in the directorate, including the Customer Service Centre, expressing his admiration and appreciation of the substantial steps taken to boost communication with the public. The Shura Council's chairman also expressed his appreciation of the efforts and leading role undertaken by the chairman of Jaffariya Endowments Council and also the efforts and role undertaken by the Directorate of Jaffariya Endowments in serving the nation and its citizens, lauding the considerable developments in the work setup in the directorate and the quantum projects aimed to develop the endowments and serve mosques and maatems. Towards the end of the visit, the Jaffariya Endowments Council's chairman gifted to the Shura Council's chairman the 2015-Jaffariya Endowments Directorate's annual report, which showcases the directorate's major current and future projects and initiatives.
