Shura Council condemns Houthi missile attacks on Saudi Arabia

Manama, Mar. 26 (BNA): The Shura Council expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of Iran-backed Houthi coup militias’ ballistic missile targeting residential areas in Saudi Arabia, including the Saudi capital Riyadh, that killed a resident and injured others. The council in its statement issued today stressed that such criminal act that targeted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its brotherly people, was contradictory to all religious values and international conventions and reflects the Houthi coup militias’ rejection of any dialogue, and their continuous implementation of their Iran-backed conspiracies aimed to undermine the region’s security and stability. The council expressed its full support to the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all the measures taken to protect its borders and security, praising the Royal Saudi Air Defence Forces’ vigilance and capability to tackle and destroy the ballistic missiles, wishing Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, safety from all harm and mischief.
