Shura Council praises Bahrain's achievements in areas of tolerance, peace and coexistence

Manama, Apr. 5 (BNA): The Shura Council has praised Bahrain's great success and accomplishments in the areas of tolerance, peace, coexistence. It also lauded the promotion of human rights in a manner that consolidates the principle and approach of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa within the comprehensive development progress and the various royal initiatives to promote world peace and make human conscience and coexistence the common factors upon which the prosperity of nations is built. The Shura issued the statement to mark the International Day of Conscience adopted by the United Nations last year at the initiative of the Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. The special day celebrated on April 5 reflects the great interest of HH the Premier in bringing together international efforts in the service of all societies to promote peace, tolerance, inclusion, understanding and solidarity, the Shura said. The Council praised the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister for all programs and plans to keep Bahrain as a leader in the promotion of world peace. The rapid developments and the numerous changes across the world today require all states to work in concert and to cooperate in order to preserve and enhance the gains of nations and peoples and to make conscience the basic pillar of joint work to build safe and stable societies that live in security, peace, coexistence and cordiality, the Shura said.
