Singapore Foreign Ministry Honors Qatari Ambassador

Singapore, June 11 (QNA) - The Foreign Ministry of Singapore held a farewell ceremony for HE Qatar's Ambassador to Singapore Rashid bin Ali Al-Khater on the occasion of the end of his tenure. Director of the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia Department at the Singaporean Foreign Ministry Samuel Tan expressed his thanks and appreciation to HE the Qatari Ambassador for the efforts he exerted during his tenure in order to strengthening the bilateral relations. He wished the Ambassador success in his future assignments and the relations between the two countries further progress and prosperity. For his part, Qatar's Ambassador expressed deep thanks and appreciation to the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs for this honor and for the cooperation he received during his tour of duty in the country. The ceremony was attended by senior officials at the Singaporean Foreign Ministry and a number of ambassadors accredited to the country. (QNA)
