SMC hosts Swiss doctor

Manama, Aug. 27 (BNA): At the directive of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister to provide the best medical services to citizens, the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC)’s anesthesiology department in coordination with the Fly-in Doctors Programme hosted Swiss neuro-anesthesiologist Dr. Eric Buchser. The department thanked the Ministry of Health (MoH)'s senior management and the High Commission for Medical Treatment Abroad for their efforts in twice introducing Professor Buchser who is a consultant in anesthesia and pain management to contribute to the treatment of complicated chronic pain cases and to provide the best training opportunities to upgrade the pain treatment services in the ministry.
