Solid Bahrain-Saudi relations hailed

Manama, Apr.4 (BNA): Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received Saudi Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Dr Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Dawood, who is the head of the Saudi delegation in the meeting of the Supreme Joint Security Committee.  The meeting also attended by Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan who is also head of Bahrain’s side in the meeting and the members of the panel.  The minister welcomed the guests, hailing the strong and historical ties between the two countries. He expressed appreciation of the supportive stands of Saudi Arabia towards Bahrain and its stability. He highlighted the importance of the joint meeting of the panel that was formed during the visit of His Royal Highness Saudi Interior Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif Al Saud to Bahrain on January 9 to review security topics and cooperation. The Saudi Interior Ministry Undersecretary conveyed the greetings of HRH Saudi Interior Minister and the dedication of the Saudi Interior Ministry to provide the required support and backing to the Kingdom of Bahrain to reinforce security and stability.
