Southern governor chairs weekly Majlis

Manama, Aug. 29 (BNA): Southern Governor, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, today received dignitaries and citizens at the governorate’s weekly Majlis. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali stressed the Southern Governorate’s constant keenness on interacting with the citizens through its weekly Majlis, being a platform spearheaded by the ancestors to listen to the citizens’ remarks, identify their needs and meet them. The governor voiced deep pride in the success achieved by sisterly Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custoodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, during the Haj season, extending congratulations to Bahraini Haj pilgrims for their safe return and success in performing their rituals, and praying to Allah the Almighty to bless them with heavenly rewards. On security, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali underlined the Southern Governorate’s keenness on constantly contacting all the security authorities in order to be well-informed about the security situation and ensure the citizens' safety and comfort. Those present expressed thanks and appreciation to the governor for his constant desire to meet the citizens and follow up on their needs and expectations.
