Southern Governorate, Interior Ministry cooperation discussed

Manama, Feb. 19 (BNA): Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa met Interior Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources Brigadier Adel Abdullah.  The governor hailed the efforts made by the directorate to boost its employees’ performance. and discussed ways to boost cooperation to enhance the performance of the Southern Governorate’s personnel and cater for citizens’ needs. pointing out the significant role of training programmes in building a sound professional culture and in optimising services. The assistant undersecretary lauded the pioneering step of the Southern Governorate in exchanging experiences with relevant parties at the ministry and expressed readiness to provide expertise for the governorate to serve public interest and fast-track development and modernisation. Southern Governorate human resources specialist Shaikha Lulua bint Abdullah Al Khalifa highlighted through a presentation the main needs and initiatives of the Southern Governorate. The governor and the assistant undersecretary agreed to carry out a joint plan to cater for the administrative and training needs through an ad-hoc task force in charge of implementing the recommendations of the meeting.
