Speaker: Bahrain-UAE relations exemplary

Manama, Apr. 30 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, has stressed that the Bahraini-UAE relations are distinguished and developed in various fields, noting that coordination and complementarity between the two countries are a role model as they are supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and UAE President, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. The speaker expressed pride in the depth of bilateral relations and cooperation at all levels, lauding the advanced level of coordination and complementarity between Bahrain’s Council of Representatives and the UAE’s Federal National Council at regional and international gatherings. The speaker was speaking as he received here today the newly-appointed UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. Al-Mulla affirmed the envoy will receive parliamentary support so as to continue consolidating and strengthening bilateral relations between the two brotherly peoples, wishing him every success. He also lauded the progress boom currently witnessed by the UAE in various fields. The UAE ambassador lauded Bahrain’s unprecedented achievements and progress, under HM King Hamad’s Reform Project and democratic march. He hailed HM the King’s initiative to strengthen joint relations, as well as to consolidate the economic development and strategic vision in Arab security.
