Speaker condemns Jordan terrorist attack

Manama, June 6 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla today strongly denounced the terrorist attack that targeted the General Intelligence Directorate in the Baqa’a Camp north of Amman, killing a number of officers. The Speaker stressed that the terrorist attack is in violation of all religions and human values, and commended the efforts made by the Jordanian security agencies in maintaining Jordan's security and stability. He highlighted Bahrain's support to Jordan's deterrent measures to maintain its security and stability. Al-Mull pointed Bahrain's firm stance against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, reiterating the kingdom's calls for concerted regional and international efforts to ensure the eradication of all terrorist groups. He extended deepest condolences to Jordan's government, people and relatives of the victims, praying to Almighty God to rest their souls in peace and grant their families fortitude, patience and solace.
