Speaker congratulates Shura member on winning AP's committee chairmanship

Manama, Mar. 3 (BNA): Council of Presentative Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal sent a cable of congratulations to Shura member Dr. Fatima Al Kohaji on her election for the chairmanship of Woman and Child Committee of the Arab Parliament. The Speaker said winning a chairmanship of an Arab Parliament’s committee reflects the AP’s confidence in the Bahraini women’s competence and ability to assume leadership posts. It also highlights the success of the parliamentary diplomacy under the royal leadership. She wished Dr. Al Kohaji success in her new assignment, lauding the Shura Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh’s support for Bahrain’s parliamentary committee.
