Speaker of Shura Council Meets Senior Parliamentarians

Doha, December 04 (QNA) - HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim held on Sunday a meeting with a number of senior parliamentary officials currently visiting the country. The meeting included HE Speaker of the People’s Representative Council of Indonesia Puan Maharani, HE Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council of the Sultanate of Oman Yaqoub Al Harthi, Their Excellencies Deputy Speakers of the Iraqi parliament Mohsen Ali Akbar Al Mandalawi and Shakhwan Abdullah Ahmed, HE Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of Indonesia Rachmat Gobel, HE Deputy Speaker of the Arab Parliament Alaa Abed, HE Member of the Panamanian Parliament Omar Elias Castillo, HE Member of the Cameroonian Parliament Nourane Fotsing Moluh, HE President of the Latin American Parliament Elias Castillo, and HE Secretary General of the Asian Assembly Parliamentary Mohammad Reza Majidi. During the meeting, they reviewed a number of issues related to parliamentary work and ways to strengthen parliamentary relations. The parliamentarians expressed their happiness for visiting the State of Qatar, praising the distinguished FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 organization and the renaissance that the State of Qatar is witnessing at various levels. A number of Their Excellencies members of the Shura Council also attended the meeting. (QNA)
