St Petersburg educational delegation visits QAAET

Manama, Apr. 25 (BNA): The National Quality Assurance Authority for Education and Training (QAAET)'s CEO Dr. Jawaher Al Mudhahki met the Chairman of the Committee on Education in St. Petersburg, Zhanna Vorobyova, and her accompanying delegation. Dr. Jawaher Al Mudhahki informed the guests about the QAAET's activities and duties as one of the initiatives for development of education and training in Bahrain. The meeting also explored aspects of cooperation and coordination and anticipated signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Authority and St Petersburg Committee on Education. Zhanna Voroboyova praised the role being undertaken by Bahrain's Quality Assurance Authority for Education and Training (QAAET) in supporting and developing the education and training process in the kingdom. She also explained the work and activities of St Petersburg Committee on Education. She expressed her gratitude and appreciation of the Authority, and the desire to build and develop the bilateral cooperation ties. The meeting was attended by several officials from QAAET and members of the delegation of St Petersburg Committee on Education. The meetings comes as part of the visit by high-level Russian delegation led by the governor of St Petersburg City to the Kingdom of Bahrain on April 24-27.
