State corporation to be established in Kazakhstan for EXPO-2017

Kazakhstan, Astana, Nov. 26 / Trend D. Mukhtarov / A new state corporation will be created in Kazakhstan to hold the EXPO-2017 exhibition in Astana, the PM's official website said today. "Creting a public corporation with the Kazakh relevant departments will be the next step to prepare Astana for holding exhibition EXPO-2017," a statement said. "It is planned to conduct an expanded meeting with all Kazakh interested state bodies in mid-January 2013." Roughly 250 million euro will be allocated from the budget to build the infrastructure. It is planned to raise about 1 billion euro to build pavilions and hotels. Kazakhstan's capital became the first city in Central Asia and the CIS, which will host the international exhibition.
