Streamlined entry procedures inspected

Manama, Aug. 13 (BNA): Interior Ministry Assistant-Undersecretary for Exits, Search and Follow-up visited the passports divisions at the Bahrain International Airport and the King Fahad Causeway and inspected preparations for the pilgrimage season and the advent of the Eid Al-Adha. The visit followed directives from the Minister of Interior and the Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs to streamline entry and transit procedures and ensure passengers premium services. The Assistant-Undersecretary was briefed about streamlined procedures for pilgrims heading to Saudi Arabia to perform the hajj as well as visitors who will flock to Bahrain to spend the eid vacations. He gave directives to install special kiosks to streamline customs and passports procedures for pilgrims and passengers with special needs.
