Successful Bahraini Strongest Man hailed

Manama, Feb.24 (BNA): Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman and Head of Bahrain Athletics Society (BAS) His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa for ranking third in the lightweight class of the #Bahraini_Strongest_Man Championship. The BDF Chief hailed the success of the two-day championship, which concluded today in Bahrain, paying tribute to the wise leadership for providing the required conditions to ensure the success of sporting championships. He also commended HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa for his efforts to ensure the success of the championship, honorable performance and follow-up through the High Organising Committee. The BDF Chief also sent a cable of congratulations to East Riffa Chairman Captain Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa for ranking first in the middleweight class.
