Sudanese Acting Health Minister Stresses Qatar of Biggest Supporters to Sudan

Khartoum, January 12 (QNA) - Acting Federal Minister of Health of Sudan Haitham Muhammed Ibrahim stressed that the State of Qatar is one of the biggest supporters of Sudan in various fields, especially the health sector. During his meeting with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Sudan Mohammed Ibrahim Al Sada, the Sudanese Acting Minister of Health said that the State of Qatar has positively contributed to promoting and developing the health sector in Sudan, whether by official governmental aid or through its humanitarian organizations led by Qatar Charity (QC), Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), and Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), pointing out that the meeting comes within the framework of consultation. He also valued the achievements made by QFFD for Sudan in the field of emergency through World Health Organization (WHO), QC, and QRCS, expressing Sudan's aspiration to resume and continue work in this regard for its pressing vitality. For his part, HE Ambassador Al Sada affirmed the continuation of cooperation with Sudan, represented in the Federal Ministry of Health, calling for removing the obstacles to joint projects between the two countries.
