Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs denounces terror blasts in Bahrain, KSA

Manama, July 5 (BNA): The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs denounced the acts of violence, terrorism and extremism targeting innocent people and threatening the nations’ security. It condemned the hideous terror blast in East Eker in Bahrain and the terror explosions which happened near the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, in Jeddah and in Qateef without any consideration to the sacredness of the place, the holy month of Ramadan, the last ten days of Ramadan and the advent of Eid Al Fitr.
The council underlined that incriminating terrorism has foundation in religion, pointing out that terrorism has nothing to do with Islam and denouncing the terrorists’ attempts to involve mosques in their conflicts. It emphasised support to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in combating terrorism, calling on Muslim scholars to assume their role in highlighting the essence of religion and fighting alien and extremist ideologies. It extended condolences to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Adblaziz Al Saud as well as the governments and peoples of both countries and the victims’ families, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest the souls of the victims in eternal peace and paradise and bless their families with patience and consolation. It wished the injured a speedy recovery, wishing Bahrain, KSA and the whole world everlasting peace and security.
