Supreme Health Council Chairman visits ICN

Geneva, May 16 (BNA): Chairman of the Supreme Health Council Lt. General Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa paid a visit today to the International Council of Nurses (ICN), in Geneva, and held a meeting with its President Judith Shamian. They discussed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation at all levels in light of the great support given to the medical sector by the leadership in Bahrain. The ICN President praised success of Bahraini nurses, pointing out that Bahrain is the first GCC country registered with the council. The Supreme Health Council submitted a proposal to accredit Bahrain as a regional centre for ICN activities.
