Suspect caught with 720 grammes of heroin

Manama, Sep. 5 (BNA): General Director of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science announced on Monday that the police of the Anti-narcotics Directorate officers caught an Asian expatriate with 720 grams of heroin worth BD72000. Investigations revealed that the suspect possessed narcotics and after enough evidences were collected he was arrested upon the issuing of a warrant from the Public Prosecution at his home and the narcotics and related tools were confiscated. Legal measures are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution, the General Director said.
