Suspects in Sitra police shooting case arrested

Manama, May 23 (BNA): The General Director of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science announced today the arrest of several individuals suspected of being involved in the shooting of a policeman in Sitra on Sunday. The injured officer was referred to hospital for treatment and is now in a stable condition. The General Director stated that investigators had uncovered evidence that led to the identification of a number of suspects, some of whom have been arrested. He added that legal proceedings were being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
