Sustainable energy projects highlighted

Manama, Apr.27 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received a delegation from Worley Parsons, led by General Manager Antony Carpenter. Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Planning and Projects at Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) Ibrahim Abdullah Al Kaabi was present. The minister reviewed with the visitors the latest projects in the sustainable energy sector and energy efficiency projects. He also listened to the latest activities of the company in Bahrain and other countries of the region and the opportunities for cooperation. Dr. Mirza praised Worley Parsons' projects to be implemented in Bahrain in the oil and energy sector and their desire to establish a relationship of cooperation with the electricity and water sector by contributing to the second phase of the power station to produce water and water. The visitors thanked the minister and officials for the warm reception and the hospitality as well as cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
