Talant Mamytov receives TurkPA Secretary General Mehmet Sureyya Era

Bishkek, June 23, 2022. / Kabar /. Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Talent Mamytov received the Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries (TurkPA) Mehmet Sureyya Era. The sides discussed organizational issues for the preparation and holding of the Council and the XI plenary meeting of the TurkPA, the press service of the Kyrgyz Parliament reported. Talant Mamytov indicated that the agenda of the XI plenary meeting of the TurkPA includes such important issues as renaming the organization and approving its new logo. During the conversation, the speaker also outlined issues in the field of strengthening relations between the Turkic-speaking states and the development of inter-parliamentary relations within the TurkPA. Mehmet Sureya Era, in turn, spoke about the preparations for the upcoming TurkPA events in Cholpon-Ata, the activities of the organization and the work carried out by its four Commissions. The Secretary General of the TurkPA expressed his gratitude to the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh for the hospitality and warm welcome The XI plenary meeting of the TurkPA will be held on June 24 in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul. As part of this event, a number of bilateral meetings between Talant Mamytov and the heads of parliamentary delegations are expected.
