Tehran gallery to exhibit posters on Islamic world publications

TEHRAN,Nov.5 (MNA) -- An exhibition of posters with the central theme of publications in the Islamic world will be opening at Tehran’s Eyvan Gallery on November 9. The posters have been created at the workshop arranged on the side section of the second International Conference of Islamic World Publishers on October 12 and 13. About 30 posters created under the supervision of expert and graphic designer Farzad Adibi have been selected for the show, conference executive secretary Amir-Abbas Taqipur told on Friday. The show aims to depict the potential of publications in the Islamic countries through the language of art, he added. Kurosh Sharif, Mastureh Sarhadi, Mohammad Afshar, Hamed Hakimi, Davud Khalili, Ahmad Derakhshandeh, and Morteza Naderi are among the artists whose works will be exhibited, he said. The exhibit will be running for one week at the gallery located at No.25, Kaman Alley, before Jahan-e Kudak Intersection, Africa Blvd.
