Thai couples urged to prove their true love atop mountain on Valentine’s Day

LOEI, Feb 12 (TNA) – Phu Kradueng National Park, a popular hiking spot in Thailand’s Loei province, held a special activity to let Thai couples prove their true love and celebrate Vatentine’s Day atop the mountain. Sombat Pimprasithi, the park’s head, said all couples were invited to prove their true love and strong relationship by climbing to the top of the Phu Kradueng mountain together. He added that a blessing ceremony and marriage certificates will be offered to every couple that can successfully conquer the mountain. The event, jointly held by the Phu Kradueng National Park, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and local authorities, runs between Feb 13 and 14 to mark 2017 Valentine’s Day. Kiatipong Khochawong, director of the TAT’s Loei provincial office, expected that tens of couples would take part in this year’s activity. (TNA)
