Thai girl in escalator incident remains unconscious

PATHUM THANI, September 10 (TNA) - An 11-year old Thai girl whose hair caught in an escalator rail handle of a shopping mall in Rangsit area on the outskirts of Bangkok on Sunday has remained unconscious with swelling brain. The girl, Nuan-prae Wasoontapichaikul, got her hair caught in an escalator rail handle of the Future Park Rangsit Shopping Centre. A hospital where the girl has been admitted reported today that she has remained unconscious and has been on a life support, but her condition has been stable. The hospital said that doctors have done a scan on the girl's brain, but having not decided when to carry out an operation.(TNA)
