Thai PM orders convenient services at Don Mueang Airport

BANGKOK, October 14 (TNA) - Prime Minister YingluckShinawatra has ordered the Ministry of Transport to ensure convenient transportation and public utilities at Bangkok's Don Mueang Airport to serve international passengers to support Thailand's goal to become a regional aviation hub in the future. Yingluck made the instruction when visiting the Don Mueang Airport on Friday to give her morale support to its staff, acknowledging that the Don Mueang Airport is supporting Thailand’s potential to be an aviation center in the region, as it is functioning as the second airport in Bangkok and its vicinity, with the rising number of passengers. The prime minister said cooperation from all concerned parties has helped restore confidence inthe Don Mueang Airport, after it was flooded late last year. (TNA)
